Voting Opens August 12

After the final four nominees in each category are announced on August 10th at Mercedes Benz of Beaverton, voting will open for the People’s Choice awards. Vote for your favorite Portland Fashion and Style Maker in all 25 categories, including Fashion Photographer, Fashion Publisher, Salon, Women’s Ready to Wear Designer, Boutique and more! The nominee with the most votes in each category will receive the honor of being named “People’s Choice” and will receive an additional vote in that category for the final judging session. Your vote matters, so please take a few months to click the link and let us know who you think deserves to win the trophy in each category! Voting is open from August 12 to October 1, 2019.

Each year, Portland Fashion and Style Awards recognizes 100 businesses and individuals in 25 categories. The culmination of the year's fashion and style season occurs each November with the announcement of the winners at the annual red carpet awards show. PFSA works with an esteemed panel of judges, including  long-time industry professionals and past PFSA winners to select the nominees in each category. Judges use a scoring rubric to objectively rate each potential nominee and winner based on the criteria.

Each category will receive four nominees, three of which are nominated by the judging panel and one of which is selected by the public via the online voting forum. Once the nominees are selected, the online voting system re-opens for the public to vote for their favorite nominee. The nominee with the most votes will receive one vote in the judges deliberation. Judges will again use a rubric to vote for the winner. Nominees have the opportunity to share information and images about their career with the judges via online submission form. Nominees will be announced at the Nominee Announcement Party on August 10th and winners will be announced at the 8th Annual Portland Fashion and Style Awards on November 10th.
